Wayne
Anderson,
Managing Partner,
has been practicing law for over 25 years.
He began practicing in 1977 when he joined the Army's
Judge Advocate General's Corp (JAG). While in the
Army, as a prosecutor and defense counsel, Wayne tried
numerous criminal law cases involving drugs, rape,
assault, larceny, and murder. His expertise in military
law was recognized by his appointment as an assistant
professor of military law and chief of criminal law.

| Throughout
his twenty year military career, Wayne tried cases
and mentored junior trial attorneys. After a distinguished
military career, Wayne started his own practice specializing
in criminal law, family law, and civil litigation.
Wayne joined Richard Travis to form Anderson &
Travis, P.C. in 1999. Wayne graduated Magna Cum Laude
from the University of Utah in 1974 with a major in
political science and from the University of Utah
College of Law in 1977. Wayne is admitted to the Utah
Bar (currently on inactive status) and is a licensed
Colorado lawyer. He is a member of the Colorado Criminal

Richard
Travis, Managing Partner, has been
practicing law for over 12 years. He began practicing
in a small Boston firm and then joined the Army's
Judge Advocate General's Corp (JAG). While in the
JAG Corp, Richard provided legal assistance to military
personnel and their dependents. He also represented
Evans Army Community Hospital in cases involving medical
malpractice. |
| As
a prosecutor, Richard tried numerous criminal law
cases involving rape, assault, child abuse, involuntary
manslaughter, and murder. After a successful career
in the Army, he joined the 18th Judicial District
Attorney's Office in Arapahoe and Douglas counties.
There, Richard tried cases involving driving under
the influence of alcohol/drugs and domestic violence.
Richard joined Wayne Anderson to form Anderson &
Travis, P.C. in 1999. Richard graduated from Bates
College in 1989, with a double major in history and
psychology, and from Widener University School of
Law in 1992. Richard is a licensed Colorado lawyer,
as well as licensed to practice law in Massachusetts
and an inactive member of the Maine Bar. He is also
a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, Colorado
Trial Lawyers Association, and the Inns of Court.
